Another important milestone in the implementation of the project has been achieved! On 24 September 2024, the Mayor of Leszno issued a decision on environmental conditions for the construction of small retention facilities — stone and gravel weirs on the Łasica Canal and the Zaborowski Canal, along with the naturalisation of the riverbeds. The entire procedure took 420 days and required detailed arrangements with, among others, the Regional Directorate for Environmental Protection in Warsaw. The next step in the project is to obtain water law permits for the implementation of these measures.
